FX20 is the ideal machine for the care of grassed areas in both the professional and domestic environment. These Zero Turn Mowers provide a zero turning radius which allows for faster and easier mowing. They are designed to be able to cut nice and close to obstacles such as fences, bushes and under trees, with thanks to the out front, floating cutting deck. They are able to cut so close they can even eliminate the need to trim in addition to mowing.
These mowers are ideal for large properties, both residential and commercial. They are ideal for flat, contoured or undulating terrain such as schools, camping grounds, hospitals and retirement villages. The Grillo FX20 ZTR has a number of unique features that makes it stand out from the rest. These include the ability to switch from rear discharge mode to mulching mode with a quick shift lever, The exchange from mulching cut to rear discharge has never been so easy! The “Quick Shift” Lever lets you change from one mode to the other whilst remaining comfortably seated on the machine, the ability to change the cutting height of the deck electrically and it’s high quality commercial style which is built to last. Key safety features include a well balanced machine with even weight distribution optimised for use on sloping terrain.

The cutter deck has 3 blades and a 132 cm width. It is positioned out-front in relation to the operator making it easy to approach obstacles and allows an exceptional overview of the whole work area.
Zero Turn means that the minimum turning radius is zero.
The Grillo FX20 follows with precision the perimeter of obstacles such as hedges and complex walls, and around trees or play area games in parks.
FX20′s centre of gravity is particularly low.
The perfect weight distribution is concentrated over the large drive wheels which have “turf” wheel profile tyres, making the rear part of the lawnmower remains very lightweight.
The specific pressure on the ground is always low. This ensures an optimal grip for the FX20 even on sloping grounds without ruining the grass layer.
Mowing on slopes is easy and safe thanks to the “Anti-lift”-system employed, i.e. a full-automatic hydraulic device that ensures the pivoting rear wheel remains adhered to the ground.
The combination of these measures allows the Grillo FX20 to move easily on steep slopes up to 40% and to mow transversally on slopes up to 30% ensuring maximum stability and safety.
High manoeuvrability between the obstacles, high mowing speed, hydrostatic transmission with integrated pumps/engines which are lever controlled. Speed regulation of the FX20 is continuous from 0 to 12 km/h.
A powerful engine as well as the cutter deck with cutting width 125 cm allow you to mow at high speed!

The “quick-shift” lever allows you to change cutting mode by remaining comfortably seated on the driver’s seat.
Cutting height adjustment is easy! The electric switch on the instrument panel is located on the right hand from the driver’s seat making it possible to change heights also whilst mowing. The adjustment from 30 to 85 mm is continuous “in infinite positions”, an essential requisite when mulch mowing!
The cutting deck uses a system with articulated arms in order to follow the contours of the ground with precision! Mounds or undulations of any kind will not present a problem to the FX20! the cutting deck’s solid front wheels have a flat profile, punctures are impossible!
When you have finished work, cleaning of the cutting deck is quick and easy! The cutting deck is raised electrically; making the cleaning process easy and immediate, without the need to remove the belt.
The FX20 is powered by a Kawasaki FX600V twincylinder petrol engine, with electric start and low consumption. The engine has overhead valves and cast iron cylinder liners, with a displacement of 603cc and incorporates the latest technical innovations
ensuring reliability, low emissions, high performance and vibrations reduced to the minimum.
The “Grillo Super Silent ” muffler was designed by Grillo with the aim of obtaining noise reduction and minimal resistance on the exhaust.
The twin fuel tanks positioned over the drive axle, allow the optimal weight distribution. 30 Litres capacity ensure great autonomy for FX20 up to 7 hours running time without refuelling.
Together with the efficiency and the easy practicality of use, comfort, too, was an essential priority to our design team! The FX20 offers a large, adjustable and with arm-rests equipped seat. Adjustable drive levers ensure operator comfort for the most discerning user.
Apart from this, driving the FX20 becomes pleasant and safe thanks to its electric controls for adjusting the cutting deck, the engagement of the blades, its safety disc brake with automatic activation, the “quick shift “- lever in order to change the mower from mulching to rear ejection mode,
plus a parking brake which engages when the control levers are open as well as all controls which are all easily reachable whilst remaining comfortably seated on the driver’s seat.
